PG&E pays customers without power for more than 48 hours for each day their utilities are unavailable. This compensation program pays anywhere from $25-$100 and can be obtained by calling 1-888-743-4743.
Rain showers, and some snow in Northern California's higher elevations, are expected for the rest of the weekend.
