Animated movies are getting more and more popular every year. With high stylized computer animation, people just can't wait to see what they're gonna do next. Yet, in every single animated film, each character, more or less, speaks English... even if they're a plant, or a dish... or an animal.  In Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, the horses don't speak... aloud that is. We here them think... but it's totally different. Really, this is a sweeping epic about a time when horses still ran wild around the country. It's relatively accurate from the historical perspective and filled with beautiful songs by Bryan Adams and Sarah McLaughlin. It's a story about a boy who befriends a horse, and horse who finds love in a mare. This is an excellent animated film.
