Schnebly hit a two-run home run in the third inning to tie the game at 2-2. Jason Mitchell pitched a seven-hitter with three strikeouts for El Modena (10-11, 4-6).

Alex Curry pitched four innings, striking out four, for his sixth win of the year, Mitch Bialosky went three for three with two doubles and two RBIs and Josh Potter went three for four with two doubles, a triple and two RBIs for No. 3 VIlla Park (19-2, 9-1). Brea Olinda is 7-14, 1-8.

Tony Davidson (6-1) allowed four hits with seven strikeouts over seven innings for host Cate (9-3, 3-1). Kevin Kline pitched six innings, allowing one earned run on four hits and no walks, for Dunn (6-7, 3-2).

Jesse Martinez scored the winning run on a single by Eric Retana and Retana scored another run on a squeeze bunt by Jose Facio in the top of the eighth inning for Whittier (17-2, 10-0). Pitcher Jake Rodriguez (8-0) struck out 14 in eight innings for the visiting Cardinals. California is 6-4 in league.
