Junior Solis had a leadoff home run in the first inning as visiting Oxnard (19-5, 12-2) clinched its first league title since 1971. Sergio Acuna (8-1) struck out seven while recording his seventh complete game and second shutout. Acuna had a solo home run in the seventh. Rio Mesa is 10-4 in league.

Webb 3, Flintridge Prep 1
Jamie MacArthur (7-2) pitched a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts to lead Webb (10-6, 6-5), which clinched its first playoff appearance in 12 years. Flintridge Prep falls to 9-12, 5-6.

RIO HONDO LEAGUE

La Canada 4, Monrovia 3
Senior Alex Perez went one for two with a two-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead host La Canada (14-10, 9-5), which clinched second place in the Rio Hondo League and a playoff berth. Monrovia is 9-5 in league.

SAN ANDREAS LEAGUE

Cajon 5, San Gorgonio 1
Keith Pezant (7-0) pitched a six-hitter, Matt Jackson went two for two with two runs scored and two stolen bases and Brian Jarman added two hits for visiting Cajon (17-6, 9-2), which had five players with a double and turned a double play in each of the first three innings. San Gorgonio is 17-10, 5-6.
