Senior guard Mike Danielian scored 49 points, including five three-pointers, and was 15 of 29 from the field to lead Grant (1-3) to its first victory of the season. He scored 50 points in a losing effort against Thousand Oaks on Wednesday.
Harvard-Westlake 66, Westlake 44
Junior center Alex Stepheson had 19 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots for Harvard-Westlake (3-0), which is ranked No .8 by The Times. Sophomore forward Kieran Ramsey added 16 points and eight rebounds. Vince Carcio led Westlake with 15 points.
King-Drew 72, Murphy 59 Aaron Hill had 21 points, Blake Beeson 11 points and five assists, Sultan Toles-Bey 11 points and six rebounds, and Emanuel Osaseri nine rebounds for King-Drew (1-3).
Murphy (0-4) was led by Sean Cunningham's 32 points. He made 12 of 16 free throws.
Westchester 74, Mayfair 59
Marcus Johnson had 25 points to lead Westchester (4-0). Patrick Christopher had 24 points to lead Mayfair (2-1), which plays Leuzinger at 5 p.m. Saturday for third place. Westchester will play Dominguez in the championship game.
Bravo 69, Elizabeth 44
Bravo took advantage of a strong second quarter in which it outscored Elizabeth Street 20-0 to take a 35-14 lead into halftime. Bravo improved to 4-6.
Huntington Park 66, Foshay 51
Leo Diaz had a game-high 24 points, hitting seven three-pointers, for host Huntington Park (2-1). Huntington Park led by just four late in the third quarter before Danny Magan had a couple of key steals that ultimately turned into four points and an eight-point lead. Huntington Park was never threatened from there.
