Daniel Hackett led St. John Bosco (6-3) in the loss with 22 points, followed by Kertd Elisaldez with 13 and Gus Fernandez with 12.
Hackett and Fernandez made the all-tournament team.

Sophomore Jimmy Nguyen made eight out of 10 free throws and scored all 11 of his points in the fourth quarter as Garey (8-4) held off Diamond Ranch (6-3).
First-team, all-tournament selection Willie Cook led Garey with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Teammate Dennis Gilleylen scored 18 points and Derrick Pickett had 15.
Dante Smith had 15 points for Diamond Ranch (6-3).
First-year Garey head coach Mike Power, who coached Diamond Ranch two years ago, got his first win against his former team.

The end of the Jordan Farmar era was expected to provide something of a learning experience for the Woodland Hills Taft boys' basketball team this season.
But with Farmar now starting as a freshman in the UCLA backcourt, the Toreadors still seem to be following his example. Taft (6-1), ranked No. 18 in the Southland by The Times, posted its second consecutive upset by defeating No. 6 North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake, 60-48, in the championship quarterfinals of the Top of the World tournament Saturday night at Cerritos College.
The victory came less than 24 hours after the Toreadors stunned No. 3 Compton Dominguez, 35-33, holding the Dons to 18 percent shooting from the field.
"We have a little more talent than people realize," Taft Coach Derrick Taylor said.
Calvin Haynes, one of two returning starters for defending City Section champion Taft, scored a team-high 15 points. Albert Brown, a transfer from New York, added 12 points and freshman Larry Drew Jr. scored eight points for the Toreadors, who will face Verbum Dei in the semifinals Monday at Cerritos College. The Eagles were 55-48 winners over Fresno San Joaquin Memorial in another quarterfinal game Saturday.

Inglewood hit a lay-up in transition with 10 seconds left in the third overtime to win, spoiling a 46-point performance by Gardena Serra's Kelvin Wilson. Wilson, a senior guard, was 20 of 23 from the free-throw line, had six steals and eight rebounds.
Inglewood (8-2) seemed to benefit from a clock malfunction late in regulation. With the scoreboard showing two seconds and Gardena Serra (7-3) up by three points, the Cavaliers inbounded the ball near midcourt, dribbled past the center stripe and threw up a three-pointer that went in.
The clock still showed two seconds, and the referees decided to count the basket and send the game into overtime, tied at 56.

Kevin Peterson had 32 points and 17 rebounds and Ray McDounough added nine points and seven rebounds in a St. Francis (4-0) victory over Loma Linda Academy, which was led by Doug Rogers' 19 points.

Villa Park (7-0) made just one field goal in the first 7 1/2 minutes, but then converted 11 three-pointers the rest of the way. El Toro (8-1) trailed, 63-48, with just over four minutes remaining, then went on an 11-0 run to close to within 63-59 with 1:27 to play.
Villa Park made seven of eight free throws in the final 41 seconds to seal the victory. Darryl Best and Kelvin Kim each scored 15 points for El Toro.

Santa Monica (6-3) outscored Mira Costa (5-4) in the fourth quarter, 21-6. Will Freedman led Santa Monica, which trailed at halftime, 28-19, with 14 points, while Jason Deutchman added 12 points. Andrew McLellan had 16 points and eight rebounds to lead Mira Costa.

J.R. Garcia had 24 points to lead visiting South El Monte. Josh Sanchez of La Puente (1-7) had 22 points.

Omar Hajj hit a 40-foot, three-pointer at the buzzer to lift host Webb. Hajj led the Guals with 13 points. Junior John Rogers scored 24 points and had 13 rebounds, his fourth double-double in six games for Western Christian (1-5).

Taylor Siemens, who had 18 points, and was one of four sophomores who sparked La Mirada as the Matadores (5-2) won without the services of two injured seniors.
Others sophomores with key performances were Kyle Risser with 12 points and Josh Robbins with nine. Stephen Kaupang finished with five blocked shots and four steals.
Johnny Oronoz, who averages 20 points per game, and point guard Tim Reich did not play for the Matadores.

Junior guard Ben Courson broke a 46-46 tie with two baskets in the last two minutes to lift Santa Ana Cavary Chapel (5-1) to victory.
Caleb Burgess led the Eagles with 21 points and Courson finished with 14 points.

Matt Goodloe scored 25 points and Rodney Nungarary added 21 to lead Western (4-2) past visiting Los Amigos.

Anthony Santos hit a key foul shot for Whittier Christian (6-2) with just more than a minute remaining to extend the Heralds' lead to their final margin of victory.
El Monte (3-5) led, 21-19, at halftime, but trailed, 35-28, at the end of the third quarter despite a game-high 17 points from Eddie Ceja.
Eastside Christian 57, Liberty Christian 54
Doug Rominger scored 20 points for Eastside Christian (6-3), which led by 13 points going into the fourth quarter of a victory over Liberty Christian.
Liberty Christian outscored Eastside Christian, 20-10, in the fourth quarter, but the Minutement turned the ball over with four seconds left.
Jesse Maldonado led Liberty Christian (1-5) with 24 points and eight rebounds.

Bryce Keefer hit six three-point baskets and finished with 27 points and Keith Fernandez hit a three-pointer with 47 seconds left in the second overtime to give Saddleback Valley Christian (1-3) the victory.
Aglas DeMarco scored 17 points for Tri-City Christian (4-1).

Jose Leyva scored seven of his team-high nine points in the fourth quarter and finished with nine points for Century (4-3), which led by one point after three quarters in a victory over El Modena (0-7).

The Spartans' victory was their second in a row without three starters who have been absent while on a field trip. Dan Alexander had 16 points to lead Arcadia.

Doug Lauer, a 6-foot-5 junior forward, had his first double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds for Twentynine Palms (3-1) and all 13 players scored for the Wildcats in the victory over Loma Linda Academy (1-4).

Tim Cozine scored 18 points and Parker Cain added 14 points and 10 assists for Wildwood (2-2) in a victory at Southwestern Academy (0-4).
