Kara Speranza, Orlando University: Recorded four interceptions in a 29-0 win over Lake Nona Tuesday, returning one for a touchdown. The Cougars are 3-0 and Speranza has eight interceptions on the year.

Bailey Florin, Boone: The senior quarterback threw for nearly 1,300 yards with 11 TDs as the Braves are off to a 3-0 start to the season.

Kristi Simon, Celebration: The senior quarterback has thrown three touchdown passes and rushed for two more, including the game-winning score in overtime against Matanzas helping the Storm get off to a 2-1 start to the season.

Sidney Wilson, DeLand: The Bulldogs are 3-0 and the defense, led by Wilson, has only allowed six points on the season. Wilson had six sacks in Thursday's shutout of Pine Ridge and three more in another shutout win over Deltona on Tuesday.

Sage Leffew, Harmony: The junior quarterback led the Longhorns to a pair of district wins over St. Cloud and Poinciana with six touchdowns through the air and four more on the ground.

Daniela Jimenez, Lake Nona: In a 27-0 shutout of Winter Park, the sophomore WR/LB recorded 10 flag pulls and three interceptions, returning one for a touchdown. She also added five catches for 66 yards and a score on offense.
