Lake Highland Prep junior guards Joel Berry and Jay Henderson were two of the prospects FSU drew to Tallahassee for its Midnight Madness basketball practice last Friday.

Berry, who was the Sentinel’s area Player of the Year as a sophomore, counts the Seminoles on a growing list of college scholarship offers that includes Duke, UF, Kansas, Maryland, Miami, North Carolina and Ohio State according to Rivals. His sidekick, Henderson, made a name for himself this summer and has gained serious interest from FSU, Purdue and others.

During the weekend, FSU reportedly picked up commitments from two seniors, Canadian guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes (6-4) of Huntington Prep in West Virginia and Jarquez Smith (6-9) of Jones County (Ga.).
