Buzz: Lopez (20-2) is the team to beat, but Green Wave coach Eddie Miller is worried about the unknown with South Florida Prep, which like IMG, plays outside the FHSAA. IMG lists three 7-footers and 6-8 Oklahoma State signee Kamari Murphy but its lineup is never certain. 7A, District 5 top seed Osceola (11-9) has come on strong since mid-December. Both Seminole and Orlando University have also proven they can beat quality opponents. Friday’s games are at Seminole because Lyman is also hosting the 8A, District 2 girls tournament.

Admission: $5 adults, $3 students.
