Beth Ann Sayward, 56, of Charlevoix, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Tendercare - Birchwood of Traverse City.
She was born on July 21, 1956, in Flint, the daughter of Richard and Pamela (Gibbs) Sayward. Beth graduated from Upper Arlington High School in Upper Arlington, Ohio, in 1974; North Central Michigan College in 1990; and Central Michigan University in 1995.
She was an avid bicyclist and artist.
Beth also enjoyed calligraphy.
Beth is survived by her father, Richard Sayward, of Charlevoix; her twin sister, Terri Lynn (Brian) Gallagher, of Amanda, Ohio; one brother, David (Dawn) Sayward, of East Jordan; five nieces, Sarah Gallagher, Elizabeth Sayward, Dana Sayward, Destiny Sayward and Becky Sayward; and three nephews, Stewart Sayward, Daniel Sayward and Jay Sayward.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Pamela Sayward, and her brother, Jay Eric Sayward.
A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, at the Penzien Funeral Homes Inc. in East Jordan. Burial will take place in the spring at Mount Bliss Cemetery, Jordan Township, Antrim County.
