Aldermen butt out of 'Chi-raq' controversy

We understand why some Chicagoans don't want their city to be known as "Chiraq." But it's better than being known as The City of Big, Thin-Skinned Shoulders. Chicago aldermen showed little enthusiasm Monday for a resolution meant to get filmmaker Spike Lee to rename his movie about violence in the city's Englewood neighborhood. The measure, sponsored by Ald. Will Burns, 4th, would have urged state officials to deny roughly $3 million in film tax credits unless Lee changed the film's title.
