9. More on the Common Core bogeyman

Orlando Sentinel Columnist
Saturday's column hits on the topic of Common Core, a set of school curriculum standards in English and math that Florida and 44 other states adopted. You'd think it would be a fairly dry topic, but there's nothing boring about a fight that pits Jeb...

11. Common Core backlash is rooted in fiction

15. Chan Lowe: Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio and immigration

Jeb Bush can fog up the picture all he wants to about his 2016 plans for a presidential run, but I’m convinced he’s already made a decision. Just look at his shifting stance on immigration. Like John McCain (who has done more about-faces on immigration than he ever executed as a naval officer), Jeb has abandoned his moderate stance on this topic in favor of pleasing the troglodytic primary-voting wing of his party. McCain, who is not running for anything at the moment, has since swerved back from his “fix the danged fence” days to being the Republican Voice of Reason (once again proving that running for office and actually governing are two entirely different animals).
