San Diego bishop expected to leave hospital this week after stroke

Roman Catholic Bishop Cirilo Flores, who suffered a stroke April 16, is expected to leave the hospital this week but will not be able to return to his pastoral duties for four to six weeks, the Diocese of San Diego announced Tuesday. "Bishop Flores has been advised by his doctors that he will not be able to return to work at the Pastoral Center or celebrate litugries for a period of four to six weeks," said Msgr.
