  1. United Arts campaign passes $1 million mark

    United Arts of Central Florida will announce today it has received pledges totaling more than $1 million — or two thirds — of its $1.57 million fundraising campaign goal. That places the campaign 30 percent ahead of last year at the same point in time. The 2013 campaign runs from Feb. 1 through April 30. This year's campaign featured a strong "early bird" component that began in late November and secured $505,000 in pledges.
