    A man entered the Sunoco at 3801 Walnut Street last night and threatened to shoot the clerk, demanding access to the cash register. The suspect took off with an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot, heading east on Locust Lane. The suspect is described as a black male, 6' to 6'3 tall, of a muscular build, with a scar of skin blemish near his right eye. He was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, red athletic gloves, white sneakers and a white shirt wrapped around his face/head.

  15. Shots fired outside Lux Club in North York

    Someone fired shots into the air in the midst of a donnybrook outside a North York club early Sunday morning. It happened around 1am at the Lux Club at 1327 North Duke Street. Police say the fight originated inside the club. Security managed to get the combatants outside the club when yet another fight broke out in the crowd. During this skirmish, a man, described as an Hispanic male with a medium build wearing a light colored shirt and blue jeans, retrieved a gun from a nearby vehicle and fired four or five shots into the air. The shooter  was with two other Hispanic males.  The trio left the area of the club in a small silver or gray colored hatchback.

    A woman caught stealing merchandise at Zweier's on South Lincoln Avenue gave police and onlookers back a little more than they were looking for last week. When police asked Cheryl Boyer, 46, if she had any more items on her than the $4 worth of merchandise she was caught stealing, she promptly dropped her pants and lifted her shirt, exposing herself to customers and staff.

  19. Armed robbers victimize couple for 3rd time

    Three armed men barged into a home on Evergreen Street and robbed the resident, who was home with his baby boy. It happened around 7pm Friday on the 100 block of Evergreen. The victim says the robbers made him get face down on the floor and demanded money. As he was on the floor, a woman who lives at the home walked in and was also put on the floor face-first. The robbers made off with cash. The victims were not injured.

  21. Man robbed after making ATM withdrawal in Harrisburg

    A downtown resident was robbed after withdrawing money from an ATM. It happened around 3am Saturday on the 400 block of North 2nd Street. The victim said he withdrew a small amount of cash and as he turned to walk home a black male rushed up and snatched the money.  The robber, described as being a black male, about 6'1", of a medium build, with a freckled face and wearing dark jeans and a dark shirt.
 was accompanied by a black female, described as being short and wearing a baggy long sleeved shirt.  The robbers ran to a waiting red sedan, got in and drove off.  The victim was not harmed.

  23. Man beaten and robbed walking home after car break-down in Harrisburg

    Robbers attacked a man walking home after his car broke down Saturday night. The victim says his car quit running near 19th and Derry Streets around 9:30pm. As he walked home, he was approached by two men in the area of Berryhill and Girard Streets. They asked him for change. When the victim pulled a one from his wallet, the robbers attacked. One punched him in the head and the other grabbed the wallet. They took his wallet and a small amount of cash. The victim suffered bruises and lacerations. He managed to walk the rest of the way home and call police.
