GM recalls Silverado, Sierra, Suburban and Tahoe vehicles

General Motors has issued yet another recall on several of its vehicles, noting that an audio software defect may prevent drivers from knowing they have a door open, and that a bad weld may prevent air bags from deploying in a crash. The first of the two recalls covers 57,512 Chevrolet Silverados and GMC Sierras, from 2014 and 2015, and Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban vehicles from 2015. On these vehicles, a radio software issue may render inaudible the chime drivers should hear when a seat belt is not being used or when a passenger door has been left ajar.
