Stephen Thomas Murphy, 23, of Brooksville, became upset with his father after he refused to give him a cigarette, due to Murphy's heart problems, reports Hernando Today in Brooksville.
Deputies say Murphy then grabbed his father from behind and choked him until he was unconscious, taking his father's cigarettes, cell phone and house phone.
When his father walked to a nearby pay phone to call 911, Murphy used his father's car to follow and confront him.
During the confrontation, the father managed to get inside the car and lock himself in, then drive back to his home.

Back at the house, the irate son threw a large rock into the car's windshield before fleeing on foot.
Looks like Murphy has a bigger heart problem than he realized -- he's heartless.
