South Florida action star Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, plays a bodybuilding criminal in the motion picture, "Pain and Gain." The meathead fest, featuring a trio of steroid-using personal trainers in Miami during the 1990s, is a truthy tragicomedy that's often disturbing and sometimes hilarious. (Co-star Mark Wahlberg seems to be in "roid rage" throughout the movie.)

A lifelong dancer, she says she needs mental stimulation to balance her physical workouts. Although she hits the gym three days a week for weight and endurance training, she takes dance classes twice a week for her muscles, cardio and mind.

Ex-Dolphin targets topic of obesity
Keith Sims played offensive guard for the Miami Dolphins from 1990 to 1997 and for the Washington Redskins for three more years. Like many NFL linemen, this three-time All Pro suffered through leg and other injuries and, after retiring, he lacked the workout goal of preparing for Sunday games. So he gained fat, hitting 380 pounds, while losing muscle. But when friends and ex-teammates started dying of obesity, he decided to regain control of his body. He's now lost more than 100 pounds, with much of it coming off after lap-band surgery in August.

Viktoria Telek won Wilhelmina Models' 2009 Hot Body Model Search, which awarded her with a five-year contract. She entered at an open casting call at a Vitamin Shoppe in Miami and competed against thousands nationwide. Since then, she has appeared in Shape and other magazines while still teaching boot camp on South Beach, exercising nonstop, and selling real estate.
