St. Thomas University
in Miami will host a job-search 'boot camp,' open to the public, on Thursday, March 17.
The event is from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Evelyn and George Goldbloom Convocation Hall on campus. St. Thomas University is located at 16401 NW 37th Ave., Miami Gardens.
Panelists include Luis Almodovar, HR Generalist, Tech Data Corp.
; Jim DeChant, vice president, Right Management, South Florida; Ann Machado, president, Creative Staffing; and Laura Sturaitis, executive vice president, Business Wire.
Topics include "Ways to Handle Stress With Your Career Search," "Uncovering Jobs in the Hidden Job Market," and "How to Develop Your Online Brand."
