To review: NASCAR dropped an unprecedented hammer on MWR, levying points penalties that bumped Martin Truex Jr. out of the Chase and fining the organization $300,000 for the late-race high-jinks in an attempt to skew the Chase lineup for the remaining 10 races of the season.
