Rays outfielder Wil Myers to be out more than six weeks

Tampa Bay Rays right fielder Wil Myers is expected to be sidelined for more than six weeks because of a stress fracture in his right wrist. The Rays said Tuesday that Myers will be in a cast for five to six weeks and then start rehabilitation. Tests determined the extent of the injury after Myers was injured last week and went on the disabled list. Manager Joe Maddon said Myers' spot will be filled mostly by Ben Zobrist and Kevin Kiermaier. Myers is batting .227 with five home runs and 25 runs batted in.
