Paul Konerko's left wrist has healed enough that he was given the go-ahead to not only bat for the White Sox but be back at first base for Sunday's finale against the Tigers.
Konerko had miss the previous two games after having a bone fragment flushed...

Jake Peavy can dominate opposing hitters as well as he can dominate the disabled list.
For 90 pitches or so, anyway.
Peavy said his start against the Cubs on Wednesday night was a struggle, and not just with catcher A.J. Pierzynski, whatever that was....

Carlos Quentin was scratched from the Chicago White Sox lineup Friday against the Washington Nationals and will miss the game for personal, non-injury issues.
He is expected back Saturday.

An MRI of Carlos Quentin's left shoulder on Sunday morning showed "only" a sprain of the AC joint, but it is still questionable when he will be able to fully swing a bat again.
The Sox will make a decision on whether to put Quentin on the disabled list...
