5. Brian Cashman and Theo Epstein speak at the Edgerton Center in Fairfield on Jan. 31

Brian Cashman (pictured) helped lead the 2009 New York Yankees to their 27th World Championship, the most of any team in any professional sport, thanks in part to his decision making in the front office. It was the fourth World Series winning Yankees team he'd assembled. Theo Epstein was at the helm of the Red Sox when they won their first World Series in 87 years in 2004, and then again when they doubled up in 2007. After an unprecedented Red Sox meltdown last season, Epstein relocated to the Chicago Cubs where he hopes some of his curse-breaking luck will reappear to help the Cubbies win their first fall classic in 103 years. On Tuesday, Cashman and Epstein will be at Sacred Heart's Edgerton Center to talk baseball now that the first signs of spring training are looming on the horizon.
