White Sox Game Day: Chris Sale's 100th start a tough one

ST. LOUIS – White Sox left-hander Chris Sale makes his first career start against the Cardinals – and his 100th overall – Tuesday at Busch Stadium, where the Cardinals have gone 29-7 this season. Sale is looking to record 10 strikeouts in his eighth straight start, which would tie the major-league record set by Pedro Martinez in 1999. At the plate Sox center fielder Adam Eaton will lead off, followed by first baseman Jose Abreu, left fielder Melky Cabrera, right fielder Avisail Garcia, third baseman Conor Gillaspie, shortstop Alexei Ramierz, catcher Tyler Flowers, second baseman Carlos Sanchez and Sale.
