Right fielder Yasiel Puig hit his 11th and left fielder Scott Van Slyke his fifth. The other home run given up by left-hander David Holmberg was hit by A.J. Ellis, who has experienced an offensive resurgence in recent months while becoming acclimated to his new role. The Dodgers' starting catcher for the previous four seasons, the 34-year-old Ellis has backed up Yasmani Grandal this season.
