Washington Nationals All-Star pitcher Jordan Zimmermann leaves game early

Washington Nationals right-hander Jordan Zimmerman abruptly left his start against the Philadelphia Phillies in the fourth inning Friday night because of a right biceps injury.

Zimmerman (6-5), scheduled to participate in his second straight All-Star game Tuesday, called the Nationals training staff out after throwing a pitch to Cameron Rupp with one out in the fourth.
