Barry Bonds, long reviled by many in Pittsburgh after leaving the Pirates after the 1992 season to sign a free-agent deal with the San Francisco Giants, will get a chance to make amends Monday. Bonds, now a special instructor with the Giants, will present Pirates center fielder Andrew McCutchen with his National League MVP award before the Pirates play the Chicago Cubs.
