While right fielder Kole Calhoun, fresh off a five-game triple-A stint, was activated off the disabled list on Wednesday, Angels left fielder Josh Hamilton and pitcher Hector Santiago both packed their bags and headed for Salt Lake. Hamilton's departure felt like a celebration, the end of a 6 1/2-week journey back from a torn ligament in his left thumb.
