Nicknamed "the Friendly Confines," Wrigley Field has been home to the Cubs since 1916. Its original name was Weeghman Park when it was built in 1914 for the Federal League's Chicago Federals, also known as the Chicago Whales. When the Whales folded and the Cubs moved in, it was known as Cubs Park.
