DENVER — Phil Jackson, viewed by some Lakers fans as a future savior of the franchise, has been offered a front-office job by the New York Knicks. Jackson, 68, recently met with Knicks owner James Dolan and planned to make a decision next week, the New York Daily News said, citing an anonymous NBA source. The description of the offer was reportedly "more than just a consulting job."
