Lakers agree to terms with point guard Kendall Marshall

The Lakers have agreed to terms with free-agent point guard Kendall Marshall, according to an NBA executive with knowledge of the situation. Marshall was originally drafted by the Phoenix Suns with the 13th overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft. After one season with the Suns, averaging 3.0 points and 3.0 assists a game, he was traded to the Washington Wizards (along with Shannon Brown, Marcin Gortat and Malcolm Lee). The Wizards subsequently waived Brown, Lee and Marshall -- keeping Gortat.
