Sacramento Coach George Karl moved into a tie for fifth on the NBA wins list Saturday, catching former Lakers coach Phil Jackson with his 1,155th career victory as the Kings rolled to a 142-119 blowout of the visiting Phoenix Suns, who suffered their eighth consecutive loss.
The 63-year-old Karl is 1,155-795 in 27 seasons. DeMarcus Cousins had 32 points and nine rebounds to lead Sacramento, despite playing on 27 minutes because he sat out the fourth quarter, and Darren Collison had 21 points and six assists as the Kings set a season high for points.
Brandon Knight had 23 points for the Suns, who have lost 10 of 11.
