LeBron James broke Scottie Pippen's NBA record for career assists by a forward and Kevin Love tied a career-best with eight three-pointers for 24 points and as the Cleveland Cavaliers rallied in the second half to beat the Detroit Pistons, 102-93, on Tuesday night at Auburn Hills, Mich. James finished the game with 11 assists for 6,142 for his career. Pippen had held the top mark of 6,135 since taking it from John Havlicek in 2004. James, who had 19 points, nearly had an odd triple-double, turning the ball over nine times, one short of his career high.
