A great quarterback, as FSU found out from Jameis Winston in 2014, can mask some serious deficiencies. The Seminoles were a talented squad last season and went undefeated in the regular season en route to an appearance in the first College Football Playoff, but the squad was not without its blemishes. The defense was inconsistent, the offensive line struggled for the first part of the season and Winston’s targets – sans Rashad Greene and Nick O’Leary – were largely inexperienced.
