1. Pats Troy another one

Boston Herald
The Patriots tapped into the Marshall well once again. No pressure or anything. The Pats selected wide receiver Aaron Dobson in the second round last night (No. 59 overall) and their obvious hope is he can work out the way former Thundering Herd...

3. Pats need to catch up

Boston Herald
The Patriots' urgency to draft a wide receiver this weekend should be palpable. Their hesitancy to target one, though, would be understandable. This position has been Bill Belichick's white whale for the past decade. Deion Branch, the first receiver...

5. Pats miss as often as hit

Boston Herald
As football fans have come to know, drafting is a bit like that famous box of chocolates. As the fictional Forrest Gump was fond of saying, "You never know what you're going to get." Even with all the resources allocated to scouting and analyzing film...

9. Scouting report for Ravens at Bengals

RAVENS PASSING GAME: Quarterback Joe Flacco ended a troubling late-season slump by tearing up the New York Giants last week, throwing for 309 yards and two touchdowns to go along with a rushing score. Perhaps the best development for the Ravens was that Flacco didn't turn the ball over and wasn't sacked. Flacco has won four straight games against the Bengals, throwing five touchdowns during that span. The Ravens are 11 points away from setting a franchise record for most points in a season.

11. Scouting report: Ravens at Eagles

RAVENS PASSING GAME: What will quarterback Joe Flacco do for an encore? A week after lighting up the Cincinnati Bengals in one of the best performances of his career, Flacco brings the Ravens' suddenly explosive offense to Lincoln Financial Field, a short drive from where he grew up. Eight players caught passes in the Ravens' opener, led by tight end Dennis Pitta. Flacco figures to get far less time to operate against a fast and aggressive Eagles defense.

15. Safety Ed Reed captures NFL record

At this point in his Hall of Fame-bound career, Ed Reed doesn't need to remind voters of his prowess as a playmaker. But just in case there were a few non-believers, the Ravens free safety offered a firm rebuttal.
