Cleveland quarterback Cody Kessler has injuries to his ribs and chest and may not be available for this week’s game at Tennessee. The rookie from USC got hurt in the first half of Sunday’s loss to New England and was replaced by Charlie Whitehurst, who injured his left knee in the final minutes. He and Kessler are considered day to day.
The Browns have started three quarterbacks this season and played five in five games. Josh McCown, who broke his collarbone in Week 2, was cleared to practice.
