Eddie Royal gives Bears passing game versatility it lacked last season

Eddie Royal hasn't come close to replicating his rookie season of 2008 when he caught 91 passes playing with Jay Cutler. But he reunites with the quarterback as a more complete receiver than he was with the Broncos. The Bears signed Royal to a $15 million, three-year contract that includes $10 million guaranteed.
