7. Roethlisberger likes revamped Steelers offense

Ben Roethlisberger didn't entirely like the offense, its nuances and terminology. Neither did some of the assistant coaches. Most of all, Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley didn't totally like it, either.

  9. Talking fantasy football with blogger Dan Ciarrocchi

The Baltimore sports scene is blessed with a bunch of talented bloggers who bring their unique perspective to the conversation. This week, I exchanged emails with Dan Ciarrocchi, a member of the Fantasy Sports Writers Association who writes about fantasy football for Pro Football Focus and the Redskins for Hogs Haven, an SB Nation website.

  13. Are the Steelers doing OK this off season?

No Super Bowl-winning coach, ESPN analyst and creepy doll lookalike Jon Gruden has been quoted saying: "You never stay the same. You either get better or you get worse." Through the early weeks of the off-season, it's hard to see how the Steelers...

  21. Scouting Report: Ravens vs. Steelers

RAVENS PASSING GAME: Much has been made of quarterback Joe Flacco's struggles on the road, but he's beaten the Steelers with late drives in his last regular season visit to Heinz Field. He's also coming off a four-touchdown (three passing, one rushing) performance against the Oakland Raiders where wide receiver Jacoby Jones and tight ends Dennis Pitta and Ed Dickson returned to the game plan. The pressure will be on tackles Kelechi Osemele and Michael Oher to give Flacco time to throw downfield.

  23. Ravens scouting report Ravens vs. Steelers

PASSING GAME: Quarterback Joe Flacco couldn't get much done against the Pittsburgh Steelers two weeks ago as he completed 20 of 32 passes for 164 yards and no touchdowns. Pittsburgh cornerback Ike Taylor held Torrey Smith, the Ravens' top downfield threat, to one 7-yard catch, even though Smith was targeted seven times. The Ravens passing attack is ranked 11th in the NFL, but only one team (the Dallas Cowboys) has held Flacco under 300 passing yards at M&T Bank Stadium this season.
