3. Ravens practice highlights: Cundiff edges Tucker in kicking showdown

TAKE THAT KID: Undrafted free agent Justin Tucker has mostly gotten the better of incumbent Billy Cundiff in the kicking competition, but not Monday. Both were good from 29, 34, 41, 52 and 58 yards. But with the rest of the team getting into each kick, Cundiff converted from 61 yards while Tucker's attempt from the same distance sailed wide right. In fairness to Tucker, there was an issue with the snap that threw off his timing a little bit.

  11. Ravens' special teams still have work to do this preseason

Ravens rookie Asa Jackson celebrated with an impromptu dance, blissfully unaware that his electrifying punt return for a touchdown had been nullified by a holding penalty on Nigel Carr.

  13. Ravens camp highlights: Practice gets a little heated

CAMP BATTLE?: The first official fight of training camp took place Wednesday -- the last camp practice that will be held at the Under Armour Performance Center this summer -- and it was a good one. Defensive end Arthur Jones and center Gino Gradkowski wrestled each other to the ground during one play. Jones wound up on top and both started swinging. Then offensive tackle Jah Reid was swarmed by a group of defenders, including safety Bernard Pollard, and dozens of players jumped in to either get a few shots in or attempt to play peacemaker. Once the players separated themselves, it was back to business and the practice ended without another incident.

  15. Ravens training camp highlights: Friday's practice

OFFENSE EXECUTES: The first offense fared well in full-team and two-minute exercises against the defense. In the two-minute drill, quarterback Joe Flacco hit tight end Ed Dickson for a 30-yard touchdown that capped a seven-play drive that left more than 15 seconds on the clock. In the full-team exercise, the offense finished one possession with a Billy Cundiff 24-yard field goal and another with a Flacco-to-Dennis Pitta 9-yard touchdown .

  19. Ravens' news, notes and opinions after Week One of training camp

Ravens left tackle Bryant McKinnie is in town and will be at the Under Armour Performance Center today, but it’s still too early to assume that he will regain his starting left tackle spot. That is because the Ravens have to find out whether he’s healthy enough and in good enough condition to get out on the field. Remember, that was the issue with McKinnie all along before the big left tackle’s absence prompted all sorts of theories about why he didn’t report for training camp. And now, not only will he have to pass the conditioning test and show team officials that he’s in good enough shape, he’s also going to have to prove his back is healthy. McKinnie told reporters the past few days that he hurt his back in an accident at home, and that’s why he didn’t show up for the first full-team workout last week.

  21. Ravens training camp highlights: Osemele stands his ground

IN A HURRY:In a simulated scrimmage near the end of Thursday’s practice, starting quarterback Joe Flacco took the Ravens 80 yards on four plays. He hit tight end Ed Dickson up the seam for a nice gain then connected with wide receiver Torrey Smith on the next play. After another grab by Dickson moved the Ravens to the 10-yard line, Smith cut inside then beat cornerback Cary Williams back outside to the left sideline for a touchdown grab in the end zone.
