Rickard Rakell scored a power-play goal in overtime and the Ducks finished with four consecutive goals to beat the Senators, 4-3, on Saturday night.
With Ottawa up 3-0, Mike Hoffman was awarded a penalty shot early in the third period but lost the puck and never challenged goaltender Frederik Andersen. The Ducks then got goals from Ryan Getzlaf, Jakob Silfverberg and Hampus Lindholm to force overtime.
"Once they got the goal in the third and we stopped the penalty shot they believed they could win," Ducks Coach Bruce Boudreau said.
Andersen made 29 saves.
