Former UCLA and Galaxy head coach Sigi Schmid and four-time World Cup goalkeeper Kasey Keller were among three men elected to the National Soccer Hall of Fame on Tuesday. Also enshrined was the late Glenn "Mooch" Myernick, who played and coached with the U.S. national team for three decades beginning in 1975. Schmid, who played at UCLA before beginning his coaching career there, is the winningest coach in Major League Soccer history. He was the league's coach of the year with the Galaxy, which he led from 1999-2005, winning a CONCACAF Champions Cup, a U.S. Open Cup and an MLS title.
