The BET Awards continued its reign as one of cable’s most-watched awards shows. The telecast featured no shortage of showstopping moments with Pharrell Williams bringing out special guest Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott, Chris Brown's first performance since leaving jail and Beyoncé and Jay Z being beamed in from their summer tour to close the show. Sunday’s ceremony drew in 7.9 million viewers, a bump from the 7.8 million who tuned in last year. But that’s not the only impressive figure the network can boast.
