  21. Kathlyn Mae Driggs: March 16

    Kathlyn Mae Driggs, 97, formerly of Erie, peacefully went to meet her Lord on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at the Corry Manor. She was born in Somerset County on May 15, 1913, daughter of the late Edgar and Alice Horner Stotler. Kay dedicated her life to the church. She had been a member of Erie First Church of the Nazarene since 1942 and was given special recognition in 1994 for 50 years of membership. Kay enjoyed playing Scrabble and board games and having dinner out with many of her friends. She enjoyed her time spent with family especially holidays.     Preceded in death by her husband Herman S. Driggs in 1968; two brothers, John and William Stotler; and two sisters, Jean Yutzy and Mary Alice Gary. Survivors include three children, Donna Lee Buzzard, Seaside, Ore.; Larry H. Driggs (Gloria), Wattsburg; and Gary A. Driggs (Janet), Spartansburg; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Jean Couchenour (Melvin), Tucson, Ariz.; Margie Bambling, Huntington; and Sara Joyce Bambling, Franklin, Tenn.; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, and are invited to attend a funeral service at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment, Maple Springs Cemetery.
