11. Chris Cornell at The Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield on Nov. 18

Chris Cornell isn't bringing a reunited Soundgarden to Connecticut, but he is bringing some of their songs. They'll be played solo and acoustic, but they'll be Soundgarden songs nonetheless, and Cornell's unmistakable, overpowering voice can still do them justice. Friday night, he's at the Ridgefield Playhouse to belt out hits like "Black Hole Sun", "Fell on Black Days" and his new stuff, like "Cleaning My Gun", all of which are featured on his new solo-live-acoustic record Songbook. This show will be a warm up for a Monday night gig at Carnegie hall. Dude must practice a lot.
