  23. NYPD Missiles In Midtown?

A federal source is knocking a report from DNAinfo.com that the feds have Stinger, shoulder-launched missiles available in the city to take down passenger jets if they get hijacked by terrorists. The report said the missiles can fly 11,000 feet into the air, traveling 400 miles an hour, and that additional missiles are brought to New York City by the Secret Service every time President Obama is in town. The source remarked to PIX 11, "This notion that we are standing by to shoot incoming aircrafts is pretty crazy. You're going to knock it down in Manhattan, so it hits some other building?" he asked incredulously.
