At 3-6 with perhaps the worst offense in the league and quarterback options limited to John Beck and Rex Grossman, you might have to be high to think the Redskins have a chance to make the playoffs.
Turns out a couple players may have been.
ESPN and Yahoo Sports are reporting that Redskins Tight End Fred Davis and Left Tackle Trent Williams are among 11 players who face fines after testing positive for recreational drug use. The drug use is said to have occured during the NFL lockout.
According to ESPN, most of the 11 players including Davis and Williams, likely will be fined but not suspended for the earlier drug use.
