The Charlie Foundation to Host Family Day Event to Raise Awareness of Diet Therapy Treatments for Pediatric Epilepsy
The Charlie Foundation to Help Cure Pediatric Epilepsy will host a Family Day event to raise awareness of the Ketogenic Diet and other diet therapies that are proven to be effective treatments for various neurological disorders, including epilepsy. The event will offer a variety of activities for children, including art therapy, crafts, games and music. Parents and others interested in learning more about diet therapy for neurological disorders will hear from leading neurologists and nutritionists, meet families who have successfully used the diet and participate in roundtable discussions. A limited number of scholarships are available to help reduce the cost of attendance for families.
