Shining light is a new non-profit organization that is hosting a spaghetti dinner on January 21st from 5:00-9:00 pm at Resurrection Catholic Church in Wayne, Illinois.
Did you know nearly 59, 730 people in DuPage County live below the poverty line? Well, there is good news. Shining Light is trying to change that startling statistic! Shining Light provides educational and outreach services to help individuals and families become self-sufficient, contributing members of society.
There will be live music, a raffle with prizes for all ages (including an XBox 360 and Kinect), and the cost of dinner is an at will donation. Before the event, we are accepting financial donations and event sponsorships to cover the cost of food. Event sponsorship opportunities are available starting at $500. (Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your sponsorship.)
