The Hornets won their 44th game of the season tonight, a 99-89 win over Golden State at New Orleans Arena.
Chris Paul scored 27 points, handed out 8 assists, and grabbed 8 rebounds. Paul's three point basket gave the Hornets their largest lead, 74-51 in the third quarter.
David West scored 23 points. Center Hilton Armstrong had 14 points and 11 rebounds. He left in the third quarter after cutting a finger trying to block a shot by Golden State's Ronny Turiaf.
The Hornets host Denver Wednesday night.
