A Chicago area man is setting his sights on a dream that will take him 3500 miles away to Alaska. That dream is competing in what’s known as the last great race on earth: The Iditarod Dog Sled Race.
39-year-old Charley Bejna is from Addison, Illinois. Not only does he have geographic challenges, he has a medical condition and he’s a rookie.
But none of that gets in his way.
